Saturn and Jupiter conjoining

Coming up in the night sky is a meeting that has not taken place so close to our view since the middle ages.

Look west after sunset along with me in the northern hemisphere. There you will see Jupiter and Saturn.

Saturn is the father of Jupiter and is the archetypal taskmaster. He is associated with darkness, doom, and disease. But before you decide to fear him, I want you to understand that he is also the ruler of the Golden Age.

Please do not blame the human nature of duality on him. Saturn a.k.a Cronos is responsible for overthrowing his father Ouranus a.k.a Uranus and if he had not cut the Sky God’s gentiles off and flung them in the sea we would not have Venus whom the Greeks call Aphrodite which means, “Born of sea foam.”

Cronus did some pretty despicable things like swallowing up his children due to paranoia believing that they would overtake him and overthrow his kingdom. Just as in so many families the pattern repeated.

Think about the implication of a parent swallowing their child. It’s not a physical feast but rather emotional and through control. Often in families, children must end the reign of patterns.
